Under Construction...

On President's Day, Tyler started on his "construction project" for Cohen's bedroom. He spent 2-3 hours the first night drawing out the lines for the stripes he planned to paint.

The next day, he put tape on his pencil marks and used caulking to seal the tape so the paint wouldn't go through. By the time he was ready to paint, he had already spent about 6 hours on the project. Who knew it would be that hard to put some stripes on the wall?

By the end up the day, he had painted the blue stripe. Unfortunately, he had to go meet with his school group so he didn't have time to paint the rest of the room brown.

Now, here we are two weeks later and hopefully after Tyler's test today, he will be able to finish painting. Meanwhile, my niece Emrie decided to take matters into her own hands. She has been bugging Tyler (and me) to finish painting so he can put the crib up. She has been really concerned about getting the crib out of the box. When she was over at my house on Thursday, I walked into Cohen's room to find Emrie painting the walls. Luckily, the paint was in another room and she was just pretending to paint. I asked her what she was doing and she said she was painting Baby Cohen's room so Ty could put the crib up. I thought it was so cute. When she left, she told me that Baby Cohen's room was all painted and Tyler needed to put the crib up now. I haven't broken the news to her that once it is painted, there are still things that Tyler needs to do to the room before the crib goes up!

Pregnancy Update

I had my 24 week appointment yesterday. I can't believe how fast this pregnancy is going. The doctor said that after next appointment I start going every other week. I couldn't believe it! At my 20 week ultrasound the doctor didn't see everything so we got to do another ultrasound! It was fun because I could actually see some of the things he was showing me. Cohen was being really cooperative for the appointment. I loved seeing all of his little features. I showed my niece Emrie some of the pictures from the appointment. She thought that if the doctor can take pictures of the baby then she could use my camera phone to take some pictures of the baby as well. I didn't know how to explain to a 2 1/2 year old that my camera phone wouldn't work.

Here are a couple profile pictures.
