I have been giving Cohen rice cereal for over a week now. He didn't seem to care for it too much. I couldn't decide if it was the time of day I was feeding him or what. My sister had said she would put a dash of sugar into it to give it flavor and my friend said she would mix it with some fruit baby food. I haven't started him on anything besides the rice cereal so I tried a dash of sugar. I can't believe the difference in the way he ate it. He down it! There wasn't a ton of rice cereal for him to eat because I usually throw most of it away. I am pretty sure he would have ate more though. Tyler claims I must have put more than a dash in, but I didn't. Hopefully, he will continue to like rice cereal. I am excited to buy different foods to see what he likes. Any suggestions on what to try next?Cohen's first day of rice cereal.

Cohen's second week of rice cereal. He is so messy! I think he was getting mad at me because I couldn't get the spoon in his mouth fast enough. His solution was to take the spoon from me and feed himself.
Cohen has not been himself lately. Sometimes he gets so fussy and I have been wondering if he is teething. He is over four months now. Does that seem early to be teething? Hopefully whatever is making him unhappy will stop soon. I miss my happy baby boy!
These are some of his happy pictures. Tyler had just came home from work and Cohen's belly was full from dinner.

Kaylee went through that same fussy stage around 4 months or so but she didn't get her first tooth until 10 months. I've heard that their teeth move up and down a lot before they decide to finally break through. But...maybe a tooth will appear. Every baby is different. As for what to try next--some say veggies first others say fruit. But personally I don't think that it really matters. I think I tried a fruit at first but surprisingly Kaylee loved the veggies, particularly squash and sweet potatoes. This was my favorite stage with Kaylee. I loved trying out new food. GOOD LUCK and HAVE FUN!
He. Is. Adorable. Seriously.
Thanks for putting up our button Heather! Seriously!
BTW, I totally frequent your blog. Hope that's okay...
Oh he is getting so big and has the cutest smile. Can't wait to see him in a couple weeks.
Wal-Mart has a rice bottle. Max loves it. It has two handles on the side and at 4 months they start to hold it by them self. They are about $5. One of my favorite baby items.
