On Friday night, we took Cohen to the Relay for Life in Payson. For those who have never heard of Relay For Life, it is an activity from the American Cancer Society to support and raise money for the fight against cancer. Relay For Life celebrates the lives of those who have battled cancer as well as remembers those who have lost to the disease. Each team has members take turn walking or running around the park for a 12 hour period. The relay started about 6:00 p.m. and ended at 6 a.m so it was a long night for those that stayed the whole time.
It was a really neat thing to be apart of. Tyler's Grandma Peggy has cancer as well as other family members. Tyler and I have also both lost grandparents to cancer so it was really great to see so many people supporting the fight against the disease. If the weather would have been better, we would have stayed longer; however, it started to rain hard so we took Cohen home. Cohen seemed to really enjoy looking at everything, while taking in the whole experience. I am glad we were able to be apart of this event; hopefully next year we will be able to go again. These are some cute pictures of Cohen this last week.
